A bit about The designer: Elena Georgiou
She started her studies in Athens in 1997 at the privet college Beloudakis. After completing her associates degree, she applied at the Fashion Institute of Technology of New York, were she was accepted. She studied there for 4 more years getting her Bachelors Degree in Applied Science. She graduated in honors in 2003. As soon as she arrive in Cyprus she established her own company under the name Elena Georgiou Couture. She occupies 2 shops, one in Nicosia and another one in Limassol. Next year she was choose to create the evening gown that Elisabeth Andreou was going to wear in the beauty competition for Miss World, in China, were she earn the title Miss Talent 2007.
In the year 2008, she becames member of the Cyprus Fashion Assosiation and participates in the first fashion week in Cyprus with a great success! Next year she presented her prêt a porter collection with 50 outfits Fall/Winter 2008/9 in Nicosia. In the summer of 2008 she participates with an evening wear gown in a Mercedes Benz promotion event that took placed all over the Mercedes Benz showrooms all over Cyprus.In 2015 she presents her new collection at the beauty competition Star Cyprus at Mega TV. Every season she creates three collections, one houte couture, one pret a porter and one resort collection.
